Services
Relational. Experiential.
Grounded in you.
My practice blends relational therapy, mindfulness, embodiment, and neuroscience, holding space for healing that's personal, relational, and connected to the world around us. Affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive - come as you are.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
The Approach: Exploring your "internal parts" with curiosity rather than judgment.
The Benefit: Instead of fighting against yourself, we work to understand the different parts of your story, like the part that’s anxious or the part that’s self-critical, to help you feel more integrated, calm, and self-led.

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
The Approach: A transformation-based therapy that focuses on undoing aloneness.
The Benefit: We move beyond just "talking about" problems to actually feeling through them in real-time. This approach helps you tap into your natural resilience to heal deep emotional wounds and foster a sense of safety.

Person-Centered & Relational
The Approach: A collaborative, non-judgmental partnership grounded in neuroscience.
The Benefit: You are the expert of your life. I provide the affirming, trauma-informed container where you can safely explore your identity, deconstruct old belief systems, and remember who you truly are.

Hey, I'm Allison!
M.Ed., RCC, CCC
When we meet you will be met with curiosity and warmth. I see you as the expert in your own life, and counselling as a collaborative space to understand yourself more within the systems and relationships around you.
I have a passion for working with individuals who are questioning or shifting their belief systems, and exploring parts of their identities in new ways. This might start with feeling lost or stuck in your life, and wanting to make a change, even if you’re not sure what that change is yet. Together we can explore new ways of experiencing emotion, communicating more effectively and learning how to navigate anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness and anything else. It takes courage to question parts of our lives that feel foundational, especially when doing so invites us to reconsider who we are. At the same time, this work can create space for possibility, growth, and a deeper connection with yourself and others. I see this process less as “finding yourself” and more as “remembering yourself”—reconnecting with and embracing the many parts that make you who you are. I work with individuals ages 12 and up, and offer support for new counsellors (counselling and clinical consultation).

My Background
My journey to becoming a counsellor included supporting adults with disabilities and brain injuries, working as a Neurofeedback Technician, supporting folks in emergency shelters, and counselling children who experienced violence. I am committed to continuous learning through ongoing supervision, personal therapy, and advanced clinical training.

With gratitude, I acknowledge that I live and work on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I recognize their enduring connection to this land and my own responsibility as a settler to honor its history and its people.
